Thanksgiving 2010

We had a great Thanksgiving! Mal had her Thanksgiving party at MDO the thursday before Thanksgiving. Allie is her best friend from school and church. Last weekend we celebrated Thanksgiving with Mr. Bubba, Babs, Bryan, & Christine. Mr. Bubba made a huge pot of gumbo on Saturday that was yummy! Bryan & Christine were able to stay until Tuesday. We had a great time visiting with them!!! We spent Thanksgiving day with my family. Friday Mom & I were up bright and early to hit the black friday deals!! We pretty much finished the kids and I got several other people marked off of the list! We shopped ALL day!! Saturday we put up our Christmas decorations. It has been a great week of no scheduled activities!!!! Now back to our regularly scheduled week!!! :)

Noah is 5 Months Old!

I can't believe you are already 5 months old! You are getting to be such a big boy!!! Here is some of the things you have been doing this month:

-You weigh a little over 15 pounds (I wasn't in the room when they weighed you and this is the answer I got from Daddy) and are 27 inches long!
-You are taking at least two 8 oz bottles of formula a day and three 6 oz bottles. In fact, you have started to squeal like a little pig after you finish a 6 oz bottle!
-You are sleeping 12 hours at night and taking 2 long naps during the day then one shorter one in the evening.
-LOVE, LOVE, LOVES your sisters!!! I think you could just sit and watch them all day and be happy!
-You love your exersaucer....and Mickey Mouse. You talk back to the tv when Mickey Mouse it on!!!
-You have said Mama several times! (Jenna and the ladies in the church nursery have heard it too)!
-You are now wearing 6/9 month sleepers because you are so long!!!
-We have tried to feed you rice cereal with at spoon but you were not too happy about it....Mama has already started making some baby food and freezing it for you when you are ready!
-You cut your first 2 teeth Monday!!! (see picture below)
-You reach out and grab for anything you want and then put it in your mouth.

I could go on all day but will stop there! We are gearing up for the holidays!! I am excited to celebrate your first Thanksgiving & Christmas!!!
